I came to Marisa without much direction — while I knew I needed a website for my window washing business, I’d never worked with a designer before. Marisa helped brand my business by refining my logo and creating several marketing pieces for me — a business card, flyer, and door hanger. When it came time for her to do the website, Marisa ran with the idea of making my window-washing business bad-ass. Between the imagery she chose, and the copy she wrote, Marisa achieved so much in such a short space — a one-page website is what my budget allowed for. And it’s truly all I needed!

Working with Marisa was a godsend. When I first connected with her, I had no website content to give her except for my company logo. Prior to building out my website, Marisa helped to organize my vision via wireframes, which was invaluable. She elevated my original website design into something exceptional in Wix’s new platform, Wix Studio. In addition to creating the site, she fleshed out my company’s branding with wonderful photographs and copy that was on point. I've worked w Hip to Wix on THREE different website projects now, and each time was fantastic! When I first was searching for support, I selected several possible candidates from Wix to interview in depth, and Marisa stood out (dominated, actually) as far more professional than the others, extremely quick to understand our unique business niche, and top notch creative. Take a look at the variety of examples offered on her profile: she really strives to get the CLIENT what they need, their best fit, their best presentation. not every client has the same audience, so you can really see that she understands her client and what they need to market and communicate. She has an impressive artistic eye, and everything she does is custom. She doesn't just pop out a generic web look for everyone. Also, her rates were very competitive, a bargain really considering her high quality.
Marisa quickly felt like an extension of our on-house team, and with our sites now up, we've continued working with her on other creative endeavors, like some unique print design work and biz cards...She can flex and support a lot of different areas. Marisa also has a terrific network of additional skilled support that she can bring into harder projects. On our trickier site, she introduced us to a superb copy editor for some nuanced marketing word smithing, and her recommended logo artist helped make sure our whole marketing approach started fresh.
I am super impressed. Her work speaks for itself, but I'm very pleased to give her a boost with this positive review. 10+/10...

Marisa did such a good job. I let her guide me on alot of this since its my first website and her choices were great. The design looks great. The different categories and the way she worded everything after I just uploaded all the content and let her decide how what and how much to use. She offered to edit and do my resume and I'm so glad I said yes. Here I am a technical recruiter and my resume sure needed help and I went to the right person. It looks better than ever. She was very responsive and took care of every request and change as I sent them to her. I would recommend Marisa highly...

Marisa (owner of Hip to Wix) was great to work with. I had her take my existing site and give it a facelift with the editor X program. I told her what I wanted and how I wanted it to look and she delivered. She really exceeded in guiding me through the process; sometimes there are too many options. It’s nice to have someone who has done this more than once or twice (I can often go down the rabbit hole). The editor X program is worth it. Just adds a bit of pizazz to make you look more professional. I highly recommend using it and Marisa. Thumbs up....
