The Emotion Evolution: The Emotion Evolution is trauma-informed therapy. The people who find it are often arriving at a hard moment, so the real brief was safety, it had to feel calm and warm from the first second, so someone in a fragile place feels able to reach out. The calm is the point.

The Organising Principle: The Organising Principle helps leaders find clarity in complexity, so the brand needed to embody that rather than describe it. Across the site, identity, and podcast graphics, the work holds to one clear idea with space around it, calm and legible, so the design does the same thing the consultancy does.

Mik Allen: Mik Allen has shot for Nike, Range Rover, and Audi across two decades. With a director of photography, the design's whole job is to get out of the way, to hold back so the reel fills the frame. Quiet on purpose, so the work is the only thing you look at.

I’m Robert Mawdsley, founder of Forma Ordina, a design studio based on Lake Como and working with clients around the world. I design thoughtful websites where strategy, visual identity and photography come together to create work that feels calm, confident and considered. Every project begins by understanding the business behind the website, shaping something that reflects the quality of the work and earns trust from the first interaction. Most people come to me with a lot they want to say. There’s often a worry that leaving something out means missing an opportunity, so the website ends up trying to carry everything at once. My approach is the opposite of adding. I strip away the noise, find the part that matters most, and place it clearly at the front. What’s left feels calmer, more focused and ultimately more memorable. Whether you’re building your first website or rethinking an existing one, every project begins the same way: by finding what matters most, then giving it the space to be seen....
